A few months back you may remember me writing a piece about my friend Austin’s SRT4 we went to pick up at his old home in Indianapolis. He’s owned it for years. Today, we swapped the summer wheels and tires back on, detailed the interior, performed an oil change and did the power steering belt.

Something about this car just sticks with me. It’s tastefully modded and has a modded fuel system waiting to go on it. This is truly one of the best examples of this model out there.

However, he also owns a 2017 Charger Daytona 392. She needs washed as black cars always do, but look at the stealth of the 392 decal.

Now the brakes on this beast!

I had a Solar Yellow on black Neon and the radio/shifter surrounds were body color. It was a nice touch.

It was a good car, they don’t deserve the disdain they get.

I’m a big fan of his. I really am. It’s a seriously fun car to drive and look at.

Something about srt-4's lately has really been drawing my eye. There are a few in that same orange around me and they’re juuuust rare enough that I always watch em until they’re out of sight. I think the design has aged really well

One of my best friends had one this exact same color. His was immaculate and tastefully modded. He hardly drove it during the time he had it, mostly due to the input shaft on o the transmission shearing off. It sat for a very long time before he and I finally yanked the trans and had a new shaft installed. After that, he just didn’t feel the same about it and sold it. I always loved it, and ever since I heard one start up and drive away for the first time I’ve loved them.

A friend of mine had one new for the better part of ten years. He drove the wheels off that thing. It was pretty badass.

The sound is a part of the experience. I’ll be the first to say that they are probably the best sound 4 cylinder cars out there.

This one is just too cool with the orange and the black touches.

I drove it a couple times. It lived up to the hype. I think the MOPAR Stage 3 goodies helped.
